
Red Cabbage & Orange Salad with Castello® Greek Style Cheese

Red cabbage makes a great base for your winter salads. Combine it with sweet oranges, creamy Greek Style cheese cubes, crunchy walnuts and a tangy dressing, and you have yourself the perfect lunch or side dish for any piece of meat.
ingredients
- 1 pack Castello® Fetta cubes in oil with herbs & garlic, reserve 3 tbsp marinating oil
- 650 g red cabbages, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 4 tbsp chives, finely cut
- 3 oranges, peeled and sliced
- ½ tbsp sesame oil
- ½ tsp salt
- 100 g walnuts
preparation
Preparation1. Make the dressing by mixing the oil from the Castello® Greek Style cheese cubes marinade with sesame oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic and salt.
2. Gently toss the red cabbage and orange together with the dressing and the Castello® Greek Style cheese cubes.
3. Finally, garnish with the walnuts and season with salt and pepper.
