
Edamame hummus

Start a dip revolution – our recipe for Edamame hummus will turn some heads with its vibrant green colour. The healthy soybeans are a fun way to introduce new sensations into a traditional dish like hummus – while keeping the beloved flavours of the sesame, garlic and lemon. Be adventurous and give it a go.
Ingredients
- 200 g shelled edamame beans (frozen)
- 1 tbsp tahini
- 2 tsp ground ground cumin
- 1 - 2 garlic cloves
- 1 dl sour cream or yogurt
- olive oil
- lemon juice
- salt
- pepper
Preparation
Preparation1. Pour boiling water over the shelled edamame beans and strain.
2. Add the edamame beans, ground cumin, tahini and garlic to a blender.
3. Pulse lightly to blend and gradually add the olive oil and yoghurt to get the right texture – season with salt, pepper and lemon juice.
