
Egg muffins with cheddar
A beautiful way to start the day – our recipe for Egg muffins with cheddar can make any breakfast or brunch table look stunning. ingredients
burger bun- 3½ oz plain cream cheese 25%
- ½ cups whipped cream 38%
- 4 eggs
- 3½ oz finely grated Castello® Extra mature cheddar
- 1 tsp coarse salt
- 8 slices smoked turkey breasts
- 1 smoked turkey breast red onion
- 2⅝ oz lettuce mix
- 2 tbsp cress
- 2 tsp colza oil
- freshly ground pepper
preparation
Egg muffins1. For the egg muffins: Lightly whip the cream cheese with the cream, then beat in the eggs. Add the grated Extra Mature Cheddar and salt.
2. Line 8 greased muffin cups with the turkey slices, then fill with the egg mixture.
3. Bake the 8 muffins in the middle of the oven for 20-25 min. at 400°F (conventional oven), then cool in the pan. Carefully remove them from the pan.
4. Combine the red onions and lettuce in a bowl. Add the cress, then gently toss with oil and pepper. Serve with the warm muffins.
